The Trail

This set of photos are from Prichett Canyon near Moab.  This is a tough trail and has no bypasses for the most intense obstacles.  On this run, Kelvin Kurkowski, a farmer from Nebraska, came with his Unimog model 1700 that he uses daily on the farm.  This truck is hugh, and has hydraulics front and rear, a 3 point hitch on the back and an implement fixture on the front.  For this trail, we had 3 versions of Unimogs: 900, 1300 and 1700.  It rained while we were on the trail.  Since the trail is also the creek, that heightened our caution due to the possibility of a flash flood.  But, it did not rain much.

Another hole.  Note the front implement attachment.

900, 1300 and 1700 mogs.  Note tire size on 1700.

Easily handles big obstacles, even with the impliment attachment.
